Charlotte Sunday

PMA Certified Pilates Instructor

MSN, RN, Family Nurse Practitioner (retired)

Combining 30 years as a registered nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner, with being a Pilates instructor since 2009 has given me a unique approach to evaluating clients and finding solutions to improve movement and decrease pain. My clients include people with replacement of shoulder, hip, knee and joints in the hands, Parkinsonism, scoliosis, chronic pain, labral tears, rheumatoid arthritis, traumatic brain injuries, balance challenges and more.

I have a passion for learning. My Pilates training includes Classical Pilates, Polestar, Anatomy Trains, pelvic floor training, Parkinson movement training, healing diastasis, memory training, original strength and hypermobility. My most recent training has been with Cara Reeser, an internationally known Pilate’s instructor, and Jeremy Laverdure, physical therapist. These courses include hip pathology, breathing and core control, and training freedom and support in the head, neck and shoulders. Advanced Spine will be included in this series.

My own fitness journey continues weekly with lessons in Pilates, CoreAlgin, and Gyrotonics.

My greatest satisfaction is helping the client move pain free. It gives me great pleasure when a client says, “I’ve slept all night through for the first time in months!”
